Actress Nidhhi Agerwal is quite looking forward to her next film, which will be directed by Sriram Adittya.Talking about her project, an excited Nidhhi says, “I was floored by the screenplay and the story. The film is a romantic–drama, but there’s a lot more to it. I do believe the film will be the right follow up after iSmart Shankar.”
The Majnu actress believes that she has been making the right moves ever since she started trusting her instincts.
“Several people cautioned me about signing iSmart Shankar, but I went with my gut feeling. The film became a blockbuster, and I stood vindicated. I have also green-lit Ashok Galla’s film,” reveals the actress, adding a little about her character in the upcoming film, “In my earlier film, I’ve played roles that are calm and composed, but in this film, I play a chirpy girl — a role that’s closer to who I am in real life.”
For someone who always wanted to become an actress, Nidhhi is clearly living her dream. “It was my childhood dream to become an actress, and I’ve worked hard to get to this stage. So I am enjoying the life of an actress. The admiration and love that the audience has been showering on me is amazing,” she adds.
Showing much maturity in her thinking, the actress states that her biggest realisation in the industry is to remain true to herself. “I always try to be the best version of myself regardless of success and failure. I continue to keep doing my work and remain level-headed,” she says, signing off.
