Anand Prasad better known as Bhavya Prasad is the only Tollywood personality to officially get a ticket in the upcoming Telangana elections. He will be contesting from the Serilingampally assembly constituency.
Though in the business of real estate, Anand Prasad has produced several films and one of them is Paisa Vasool with Nandamuri Balakrishna. Anand Prasad and Balakrishna are very good friends, and even the audio function of Paisa Vasool was held in Khammam a couple of years ago. At the time, people thought Anand Prasad would contest from Khammam district, but surprisingly he will be contesting from the city. According to a source, it is Balakrishna who has supported his contesting and the actor may campaign for him as well. “Balakrishna has agreed to campaign for Anand Prasad in his constituency some time before the elections,” says a source.
Another Tollywood name still vying for a ticket is Bandla Ganesh. He joined the Congress recently and is expecting a ticket.
