After a three-year gap, actress Avika Gor will be seen in Telugu film Raju Gari Gadhi 3. “I was busy with a few shows and a Hindi film, and did not have time to do a Telugu film,” says the actress explaining her absence, even as she adds, “I did get a lot of offers, but nothing excited me and since I was already doing so much in the North, I couldn’t allot any dates here.” With only one Hindi show in hand right now, the actress says, “I don’t have to give any commitment for this show, that’s why I signed this film when I met director Omkar.” Further, she adds, “When I met Omkar, he told me that he had Tamannaah in mind and had also launched the film with her, but her dates were not working out. So he first asked me to allot dates before narrating the story.” Avika admits that while she is personally scared of horror films, her upcoming film belongs to that very genre. “I am scared of horror movies and I never watch them alone. But luckily, there’s more comedy than horror in this film,” she says.
The actress reveals that she was able to scare many people, including herself with her look.
“On the very first day of the shoot, when I wore make-up and saw myself in the mirror, I was so scared that I couldn’t sleep for two days,” shares the actress, who admits that it was a great experience working for in the film. Avika also says that there is a noticeable difference in the working styles between North and South India. “I worked in serials and a Hindi film and am now working here. People here are extremely organised, and the work schedules are different too. I have not found that in any other industry,” says Avika, who adds, “We started the film on July 21 and now it’s already ready for release. It happened so very quickly!”
