After a slew of youthful romantic entertainers, actress Tridha Choudhury has an interesting project in her kitty — a thriller titled 7 that will mark Nizar Shafi’s directorial debut. Talking about her the project, Tridha says, “All this while I have played bubbly and glamorous characters. It is for the first time that I’m getting to be a part of a Telugu thriller. I have taken up this project because of how my character has been written, and how the narrative progresses. It’s a first-of-its-kind film for me.”
Describing her role, she adds, “I play a mysterious girl whose identity takes a turn during the course of the film. It’s a challenging role and one that will completely take the audience by surprise. People will also get to see me wearing sarees for the first time on screen.”
The film supposedly has four leading ladies in all, and Tridha says that she has no qualms about sharing the limelight. “Each and every character has its own significance and drives the narrative in some way,” she says, adding, “I have done films with multiple female leads in the past too. What’s important is how the character drives the narrative.”
