Actor Nani is very happy with the way Gang Leader did on its first day. “Actually, many were sceptical about the morning shows filling up because the Ganesh Nimajjanam was to continue till Friday evening. And I was a little nervous about it, but despite those hurdles, the film found a strong opening,” says Nani.
The actor also claims to be getting congratulatory messages on social media and his mobile. “I am very happy about the response the movie is getting and audience has appreciated our work. Karthikeya is getting good response for his negative role,” says Nani.

Then speaking about actress Priyanka Arul Mohan, he jokes that the movie even launched her fan club. “For us it takes 10 years, but her fans have started fan clubs for her from the first movie itself,” the actor adds in jest.
