Director Puri Jagannadh has launched several new actors. Next in line is his son Akash Puri. As Akash plays the male lead in his upcoming film, Puri has decided to use the platform as a way to encourage new talent.
His casting agency, Puri Connects, has announced a casting call asking interested people to send in their profiles. Speaking about the announcement, a member from the director’s team tells us, “Puri sir has always been very keen to bring new faces into the industry. Now that he is launching his son, he’s attempting to make a fresh film, with even fresher faces.” The film is likely to go on floors sometime in October.
