MAA applauds, follows Telangana CM

The Movie Artiste Association (MAA) has decided to release all of their communication henceforth only in Telugu.

Recently, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao made Telugu mandatory in all schools. His decision was appreciated by everyone and the film industry has decided to follow suit.

The Movie Artiste Association (MAA) has decided to release all of their communication henceforth only in Telugu. “It’s a welcome decision by the Telangana Chief Minister and from now on we have decided to communicate everything in Telugu,” says Sivaji Raja, the president of MAA. In fact, even the press releases are going to be in Telugu.

It is interesting to note that the film industry in Tamil Nadu also communicates all news in their mother tongue.
