After blockbusters Pokiri and Dookudu, superstar Mahesh Babu once again plays the role of a cop in his upcoming flick. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film is currently being shot in Chennai and will be released in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
The shoots will be done without any break since the director and the actor want to finish the schedule quickly and the director wants to take his time on the post-production of the film.
“Now that his film Akira has released, Murugadoss is completely focussing on this one. Mahesh Babu is playing the role of an intelligence officer (IB specialist) in the film,” says a source.
Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead in this film. N.V. Prasad and Tagore Madhu are producing this high-budget film which is in a way Mahesh Babu’s debut in Tamil as they are planning to release it in Tamil, with Mahesh’s dubbing his own voice over. The movie will be released in April.
