Surbhi is glad that she broke the mould of ‘girl-next door’ with her last film Gentleman. She believes her forthcoming films will make an impact too. The actress will be seen as an artistic girl in Vi Anand’s film.
“It’s a sc-fi and has a unique plotline, which talks about fate. The story has several layers and unfolds as the film progresses. I play Jyothsna, an independent girl who loves art. But she keeps switching her professions because she can’t focus on one. She loves to dabble fashion designing, photography, etc. The role is similar to my real life persona,” she shares.
Surbhi will be seen in another Telugu film Voter, directed by Karthik Reddy, starring Manchu Vishnu. “I am part of a group that tries to fight for a corruption-free society. The film is set against a political backdrop, and how we teach a lesson is interestingly showcased.”
