Several filmmakers have taken notice of Nivetha Thomas after her brief cameo in the Kalyanram-starrer 180, and the filmmaker Indrganti Mohankrishna, for starters, has roped her in to play an important role in his forthcoming film, starring Sudheer Babu and Nani. Interestingly, Nivetha had made her acting debut in Indrganti’s Gentleman, and this is going to be their second project together. The actress recently finished appearing for her architecture examinations and was ready to take up her next film when Indrganti approached her with his script. Almost immediately after listening to his rather gripping narration, she agreed to collaborate with him.
A source in the know reported, “Since Indrganti is known to pen substantial roles for his leading ladies, Nivetha believes that her role in his forthcoming film will show her in a new light. The actress seems quite keen to go on board, although she is yet to officially sign the multi-starrer.”
Rumors are rife that Aditi Rao Hydari has been cast to play another leading role in the film. However, the filmmakers haven’t confirmed that yet.
