Sirish was to play a fashion photographer and romance three female leads in the film.

Allu Sirish’s film with director M.V.N. Reddy (Venu) was launched last year with the makers and the actor himself announcing a 2017 release. But according to a source, the film hasn’t gone on floors yet, and is most likely shelved. Sirish was to play a fashion photographer and romance three female leads in the film. Mehreen was announced as one of the lead actresses. However, a year after the launch, no one is talking about the film.

“The film has a key past life episode for which they needed special effects and elaborate sets. It was a costly affair,” says a source. Also, after the success of Srirastu Subhamastu, Sirish decided not to experiment, another reason to drop the project, adds the source. Meanwhile, the actor is teaming up with director Vi. Anand of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada for his next.
