Shooting will commence once the actor completes his present film.

Even as Ram Pothineni is busy with iSmart Shankar directed by Puri Jagannath, he has already given his nod to another film directed by Sagar Chandra, who shot to fame with the critically acclaimed Appatlo Okadundevadu.
“It’s a period drama set against the backdrop of rural Telangana and the director approached Ram, who readily agreed to do it,” says a source.
Apparently, the director was supposed to work with Varun Tej, but since Varun was busy with another film directed by Harish Shankar, Sagar approached Ram for the same. Ram’s uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore will produce this film, which is expected to start in June this year.
