The recently released film Intteligent has given huge losses to producer C. Kalyan, who earlier made profits from Jai Simha. Seems like his confidence on director V.V. Vinayak made him release the film on his own in many areas, which in turn, backfired.
“He incurred a huge loss with the film as it cost him nearly Rs15 crore,” says a source. Interestingly, the director took the highest amount as remuneration.
“V.V. Vinayak took '10 crore remuneration and though there are reports that he returned some amount, till now, nothing has happened,” adds a source. The film is a complete wash out and the producer has gained only from the satellite and digital rights of the film which he sold before its release.
Intteligent, starring Sai Dharam Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, also marks the biggest disaster in V.V. Vinayak’s career.
