Actor Sundeep Kishan is now signing films with relatively new people. He is already working on a film which is produced by him, and has now signed another film with director Santosh Jagarlapudi, who made his debut with Subramanyapuram.
According to the makers, the film has a sports backdrop. “In the epic Mahabharata, Dronacharya, the teacher for both the Kauravas and Pandavas, demanded the thumb of his disciple Ekalavya, a self-learned archer as ‘Guru dakshina’. In this modern sports drama, the director tells the story of a guru who also seeks some kind of ‘Guru dakshina’ from a student,” say the filmmakers.
Boggaram Srinivas of Karthikeya fame is producing this film, which will go on floors next month.
