Prudhvi takes a pay cut

Actor Prudhvi, famous for his trademark “30 years” dialogue, revealed recently that in the wake of demonetisation, things have become slightly difficult for filmmakers. With regards to this, he has willingly taken a pay cut to lend support. “Things have become tough since demonetisation was announced. In a bid to support producers, I have slashed my remuneration by 70 per cent. It would be nice if others did the same,” he said.

The actor will next be seen in Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, in which he has been cast opposite actress Saloni Aswani. He will also be seen as the lead star in a film that will go on floors in April next year.
