Aishwarya-Dhanush Yet to File For Divorce: Patch up on Cards?

Dhanush is awaiting the release of director Arun Matheswaran\'s \"Captain Miller\".

In January 2022, Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Dhanush, a renowned couple in Tamil cinema, ended their 18-year relationship. Although they were seen together at their elder son Yatra's school event following their separation, recent rumors of a potential reconciliation have been refuted. A new report indicates that they are not rekindling their romance and have chosen to co-parent their two sons.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth, a filmmaker, and Dhanush, an award-winning actor, announced their separation on their respective Instagram profiles in January 2022. Despite recent speculations of a reconciliation, sources have clarified that they are not attempting to mend their differences. According to a source cited by Hindustan Times, "Dhanush is not working on his differences with Aishwaryaa. They are separated and have gone in different directions. They have made peace with the turn of events in their life and accepted that they can't be together."

Instead, the couple is working on a plan to co-parent their children, Yatra and Linga. The source explained, "The buzz that they are trying to reconcile is wrong. They aren't. When it comes to divorce, they have not filed it yet, so they are separated. There is no filing in the court. They won't even file for divorce unless one of them wants to get married again, which is not the case at the moment. They don't live together, but respect each other and share a cordial bond for their kids. They are busy raising their kids and finding ways to co-parent. They are taking turns to keep their kids so that they don't feel a void in their life."

Aishwarya Rajinikanth is currently focused on the post-production work of her directorial project, "Lal Salaam." The film, starring Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal in leading roles, features Rajinikanth in an extended cameo. Production has been completed, and the film is scheduled for release in theaters on Pongal 2024.

Dhanush is awaiting the release of director Arun Matheswaran's "Captain Miller" and is concurrently working on his second directorial venture, which also marks his 50th film. Additionally, he has projects in the pipeline with directors Sekhar Kammula and Arun Matheswaran.
