All(u) in the Family!

Senior producer Allu Aravind has divided all his assets between his family members in the hope that his legacy will be carried forward.

Top producer Allu Aravind, known for his foresight, has apparently distributed all of his wealth equally between his sons and sisters on the occasion of his 70th birthday. “He just completed 70 and feels that this is the right time to write a will and give away his wealth to his sons,” shares a source, adding that he is a clever person who always does things the right way.

While the veteran producer is best known for making movies under the Geetha Arts banner, his second production house, Geetha Arts 2 Pictures, is owned by his second son and star actor Allu Arjun, who recently posted a picture of himself performing Bhoomi Pooja to build his own house. The actor’s best friend, Bunny Vasu is looking after the administration of the new production house. Allu Aravind has even made quite a few films with nephew Ram Charan, the most recent one being Dhruva. Charan subsequently went on to start his own production company and has already made two films starring his father Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, the Geetha Arts profits will be shared amongst Aravind’s sister Vasantha, his elder son Venkatesh (Bobby) and younger son Allu Sirish, with the senior producer even providing a Cube link to his elder son for releasing films in the digital format.

Sources say that Allu Aravind was looking at one of his sons to carry on the legacy of their home banner. While he initially thought that youngest son Sirish would take on the mantle of production, he went on to become an actor instead.

Given that Allu Arjun is already a star, his father never expected him to take over production duties anyway. That left Allu Aravind’s elder son, Allu Venkatesh (Bobby), who earlier used to look after the distribution network of their production house. With the latter turning producer for Varun Tej’s upcoming film, father Allu Aravind can now heave a sigh of relief.
