Jagapathi Babu expanding his horizons

Now, the actor is all set to make his debut in Bhojpuri and Punjabi too.

Versatile actor Jagapathi Babu (JB) is already busy working in all the South Indian languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam. Now, the actor is all set to make his debut in Bhojpuri and Punjabi too.

“A Bhojpuri filmmaker approached Jagapathi Babu for a major role and the actor accepted it,” says a source, adding that this will be his first film in that language and that the actor wants to expand his visibility. “A Punjabi film is also in the pipeline,” shares the source.

The actor has recently worked in many successful films, including the biggest hit of the year Rangasthalam and Goodachari, where he played a negative role. What’s more, he is not restricting himself to any particular roles.

Among the actor’s upcoming films are Sye Raa, Aravinda Sametha and a Tamil film starring Suriya. He is also playing Y.S. Raja Reddy in the film Yatra, which is a biopic on Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.
