Ravi Kishan's focus on Telugu

Ravi Kishan has signed on three big Telugu films.

Ravi Kishan has signed on three big Telugu films. The first is opposite Bellamkonda Srinivas under director Sriwass. “It’s a very powerful negative role,” informs Ravi Kishan, who has just returned from the USA after nearly two months. “I landed in India a few days back after shooting for LIE that stars Nithiin. For a change, I am playing a positive role,” smiles the actor, who is playing a cop in the film. He adds, “It was a long schedule and for the first time, I worked on a film continuously.”

The Race Gurram star says that he is getting many offers in Telugu. “I decided to do three Bhojpuri films every year as I want to concentrate on Telugu films. I have also signed another film MLA that stars Kalyanram in which I play a baddie again,” he reveals.

Ravi Kishan says that although he can understand Telugu, he can’t speak the language. “For LIE, the director explained the scenes in Telugu. Although I can understand the language, it takes me time to speak.”

Director Surender Reddy, who introduced Ravi Kishan to Telugu films in a negative role with Race Gurram, has once again roped in the actor for his upcoming biopic, Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. “I am eagerly waiting to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi sir,” says the actor, who is happy with the way his career is going. “The Telugu film industry and the people here are very warm and friendly. I should thank all the directors for offering me good roles.
