Exclusive: Balakrishna to reprise NTR'S famous old song 'Kanti Choopu' for his next

Mumbai: The trend of remixing old songs and putting them in new films is not new to Tollywood.

Take the case of actors like Balakrishna, Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna, who have all put their father’s old songs in their films, making their popularity soar.

Now, Balakrishna is once again taking one of the popular songs from his father NTR’s film 'Jeevitha Chakram' and remixing it for his upcoming film 'Paisa Vasool' directed by Puri Jagannadh.

The song 'Kanti Choopu Cheputhondi Konte Navvu Cheptondi' is a stylish one and was shot on the late NTR and Vanisree.

The same will now be reprised by Balakrishna and Shriya in this film.

The unit is presently shooting in Portugal and will be returning to Hyderabad on June 16.

Anup Rubens is the music director while Bhavya Creations is producing this film, slated for a Dasara release.
