Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who has produced successful films like Chinnodu Peddodu, Aditya 369, and Vamsanikokkadu, had last made a film, Mitrudu, in 2008. Prasad, who is making a comeback into the film industry after eight years, says, “I didn’t receive any good scripts all these years, so I stopped making films. I’m making a comeback with the film, Gentleman.”
Prasad says that he had signed Nani for the film before the actor became famous. “After I signed Nani, two of his films released and they were successful at the box office. Nani likes unique scripts and Gentleman has a very unique storyline,” says Prasad.
Indraganti Mohan Krishna is the director of the film. The director’s last film Bandipotu was a flop. “Mohan Krishna told me to rethink about this film as he was worried that he hasn’t delivered a blockbuster yet. But, I was confident about him and asked him to go ahead with the film,” says Prasad. Nani has done a good job in the film, especially in the negative role” adds Prasad.
