English actress Daisy Edgar Jones is no more part of Rajamouli’s RRR and therefore, the director is now on the hunt for a new female lead to replace her. Although the film’s shoot started off on a good note, Ram Charan’s injury has caused a delay of up to three weeks which might extend. Besides, finding an appropriate replacement for Daisy might take a while, too, now. “Rajamouli might opt for an experienced actress over a newcomer this time,” said a source from the unit.
Some sources claimed that the director might rope in an Indian actress in place of Daisy because logistically, an Indian actress can be more available. Sources said that the filmmakers are considering roping in the actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is all set to make her debut with Saaho. “There is a high likelihood that RRR is releasing in Hindi as well, so they might rope in a Hindi actress to replace Daisy,” added the source.
