Avantika Mishra seems to be on a signing spree in Kollywood. The actress ascribes her current stint to the two music videos, Shades of kadhal and Rasaathi Nenja, both of which have been huge successes.
“Ever since these music videos came out in 2019 and 2020, I’ve been getting offers. The music video culture is strong in Kollywood, as it is in Bollywood. So when the offer came to me, I was very excited. I did the videos for the kind of reach it has, and my gamble seems to have paid off,” shares the Maya star.
Avantika is clearly thrilled about her move and believes she’s had a great start in Tamil. “Thanks to the growing bilingual-film culture, I am getting great opportunities in both Telugu and Tamil,” she adds.
However, with the growing offers in Tamil, she has also decided to hire a tutor to perfect her language skills. “I began taking online classes last year, I’ve been practicing for two hours daily, five times a week,” she shares.
