Actress Sreeleela talks about working with Ravi Teja in Dhamaka

Having made her debut with Pelli Sandadi 2, Sreeleela is kicked to be working in another film, Dhamaka, starring Ravi Teja. She says that it's been an exciting journey being part of the Trinadh Rao Nakkina directorial.

“The film will show my humorous side; I have worked on comic quotient to get into the groove,” she says, adding that she loves playing comic roles.
While stating that Ravi Teja’s comic timing was very inspiring, she adds that he had also tipped her on various techniques which she felt was a learning experience.

Srileela says that she plays Pranavi, a role that’s complete and travels with the protagonist throughout the film. "Women generally don't get such big roles in commercial cinema, but I am glad that I got it. Ravi Teja's comic timing is impeccable, I am lucky to get an opportunity to work with him early in my career,” she beams.

Although Sreeleela is born in the US, she's moved to India. She is currently pursuing medicine in Bengaluru. In fact, she has done a couple of Kannada films before debuting in Tollywood.

“I am always passionate about films and coming into films is a call that I took consciously while studying medicine is my aspiration. However, managing Medicine and work is tough,” she reveals, adding that sometimes she brings her MBBS course book to the sets and study.

“I enjoy studying and it's my choice to study MBBS. In fact, I got used to balancing studies and films over the last few years,” she explains.
Just like everyone has professional and personal life, after my films, she gets back to studies. “Also, too much of everything gets bored, isn’t it,” she chuckles signing off.

Since she’s shooting in Hyderabad for the first time, Sreeleela also wishes to explore the city.
