Top actress Rakul Preet Singh is immersed in Tamil and Hindi projects these days. It is believed that she is not taking up Telugu films because of these commitments.
Apparently, Rakul wants to concentrate more on Tamil cinema at the moment and has signed three films — one each with Suriya and his brother Karthi, and the third one with Siva Karthikeyan.
“Her roles in the three films are completely different from each other and the actress has also signed a Hindi film opposite Ajay Devgn. So she couldn’t accommodate a Telugu film right now,” says a source close to the actress.
While Rakul is already popular in Telugu cinema, she wants to prove her mettle in Kollywood too. “That’s the reason she has signed three Tamil films,” added the source.
Apart from the South, she is also keen on Bolly-wood films. The film Aiyaary is ready to hit the screens and the other one, opposite Ajay Devgn, is currently being filmed.
