After the magnum opus Baahubali, actor Prabhas is coming up with another high-budget film, directed by young Sujeeth Sign. The film, which has a budget of around Rs 150 crore, was officially launched on Monday with no fanfare. Prabhas’ uncle, Krishnam Raju attended as the chief guest and did the honours. Prabhas’ friends, Vamsi and Pramod are producing this high budget film.
“The makers want to cash in on Baahubali, that has made Prabhas a household name throughout India. So they are planning to release it in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu,” says a source. Hindi music directors Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have been roped in for the music while Madhie is cinematographer. Sabu Cyril, who worked on films like Robo and Baahubali, is the production designer. The female lead has not been decided yet.
