F3 is on the cards, says Anil Ravipudi
Apart from Venkatesh and Varun in fresh characterisations, the colloquial dialogues worked in the film's favour.

Director Anil Ravipudi is excited with the response his Sankranti release F2 (Fun and Frustration) is getting. Anil says that filmmakers like Jandhyala, E.V.V., Krishna Reddy, etc., have inspired him to make a comic caper like F2. “I grew up watching comedy films of these directors and I always wanted to make one. Since my earlier three films were action and drama, this time I decided to make a full-fledged comic caper. And I am glad that I was successful,” says Anil.
Apart from Venkatesh and Varun in fresh characterisations, the colloquial dialogues worked in the film’s favour. Anil adds, “The comic timing and the fun surrounding the principal characters were a highlight. Irrespective of their characters’ screen time, all the actors enjoyed working for the film.”
The film is the fourth consecutive hit for Anil, and he is quick to attribute it to his clinical approach to filmmaking. “I might improvise the script and dialogues on the sets, but I generally go to the set with a bound script that gives me clarity on how and what to shoot. That’s my style of filmmaking.”
Buoyed by the success and response Anil Ravipudi says he now has plans of making a franchise of the film a.k.a F3.
Revealing his plans, Anil shares, “We have this franchise trend in Bollywood, and we would love to make a sequel to F2 and turn it into a franchise. I already discussed the idea with Venkatesh and Varun Tej, and both of the expressed interest to come on board. But the idea is still in the nascent stage.”
