Setback for Mansoor Ali Khan at Madras High Court in Trisha Controversy

In a recent turn of events, actor Mansoor Ali Khan, who stirred controversy with derogatory and misogynistic comments against his co-actor Trisha Krishnan from the film "Leo," has faced a setback as the Madras High Court deemed his defamation case unworthy. The court went further, suggesting that Trisha Krishnan should have been the one filing a case against Khan for his offensive remarks.

Mansoor Ali Khan Faces Criticism for Defamation Case
The Madras High Court not only dismissed Mansoor Ali Khan's defamation case but also expressed its disapproval, stating that the actor has a tendency to involve himself in controversies and then portray himself as a victim, asserting innocence.

The controversy erupted last month when Mansoor Ali Khan made inappropriate comments during a media interaction about his co-star Trisha Krishnan, lamenting the absence of intimate scenes with her in the film "Leo." His sexist and misogynistic remarks, including an inappropriate reference to a rape scene, sparked outrage, leading to police questioning and subsequent apologies from the actor.

Following the controversy, Mansoor Ali Khan took legal action, filing a defamation case against Trisha Krishnan, who had publicly condemned his remarks. However, the Madras High Court dismissed the case, emphasizing that Trisha Krishnan could consider filing charges against Khan instead.

Origins of the Controversy
Both Mansoor Ali Khan and Trisha Krishnan appeared in the recent film "Leo," starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. During a media interaction related to his next film, Khan made objectionable comments about Trisha, expressing disappointment over the absence of intimate scenes with her in "Leo." His comments escalated into sexist and misogynistic remarks, drawing strong reactions not only from Trisha but also from prominent figures in the film industry, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Khushbu Sundar, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Karthik Subbaraj, and others.
