HYDERABAD: Sudigali Sudheer is a star and a household name to reckon with on the small screen! He was part of several films in supporting cast and debuted as lead actor with Software Sudheer. The actor says that his upcoming film, Galodu, is a fresh take on a love story, and exudes confidence that the film will enthral the audience. "What distinguishes the film is its treatment; we decided to give the love story a complete makeover so that it appeals to all sections of the audience," he says. At a time when the audience flocking theatres is in jeopardy, isn’t it risky to take the filmy plunge, we ask Sudheer?

"More pains, more gains," he replies, adding that he relishes taking up challenges and pushing the limits.

"I believe what makes our film a cut-out for theatres is its narrative style. Moreover, my rugged avatar and the mass appeal I carry in the film definitely suits the galleries. Also, as a kid I grew up watching Chirajeevi sir and Rajinikanth sir’s films. The emotion and high the audience get in the theatres is at a different level," explains Sudheer, about the P Rajasekhar Reddy direct.

Galodu is about a guy who migrates to the city from a village to solve a problem. But in the process he encounters more problems. And for his part, Sudheer had gone for a makeover. On small screen Sudheer aces comic timing with his comedy skits, but films demand more to showcase. "I want to evolve as an actor and don’t want to restrict myself to just comic skits," believes the actor.
