Actress Ileana is in town to promote her Telugu film Amar Akbar Anthony. After six years, the actress is making a comeback with this film but insists that she had never turned her back on the Telugu film industry.
“There is some miscommunication and also some weird rumours that I don’t want to work here. I started my career here. So how can I say that? I rejected many films and with some films the dates couldn’t be adjusted, but I never distanced myself from Telugu cinema,” says Ileana.

The actress has now dubbed for herself for the first time in Telugu. “I never ever thought that I’d dub my own voice in Telugu. But it all happened because of director Srinu Vaitla. I am happy that the director has faith in me,” she says.
The actress chooses not to comment on her personal life. “I don’t want to discuss my personal relationships and whatever I’d like to share I put up on my Instagram. I handle it on my own. It is a good platform to interact with people and also express my views,” she concludes.
