Rashmi Gautham exudes confidence that her forthcoming release, Next Nuvve, directed by ETV fame Prabhakar, will strike a chord with the audience. “It is a fun-filled entertainer, which revolves around four characters — me, Vaibhavi, Aadi and Brahmaji. I play a girl who provokes, not sexually though (laughs), in terms of pulling people’s legs. The catfights between Vaibhavi and me will leave the audience in splits, she shares.
Interestingly, Rashmi has been upping her glam quotient with each film she signs. “In Next Nuvve too, my character has shades of glamour. It is in sync with the film’s narrative. Moreover, it is the director’s call, and I’ll be glad if it’s paying off,” she says, adding, “I am an entertainer; as long as people enjoy my glamorous acts and filmmakers continue to come up with quirky roles for me, I have no qualms donning the glam avatar.”
