Amidst high curiosity waves, Sai Dharam Tej’s Thikka is hitting the screens on Saturday. The word ‘thikka’ being a popular Pawan Kalyan dialogue, his nephew Sai Dharam Tej adopting it as the title has led to speculations over reference to PK in the movie.
However, the actor clears the air, saying the title was an apt one for the story and was chosen by the director and the producer. Says Sai Dharam Tej, “In the movie, I work in a real estate firm. I break up with my girlfriend and then hold a break-up party, and some incidents that happen later land me in trouble. It’s an out an out entertainer.”
He also says that to portray an alcoholic, he took tips from Thagubothu Ramesh. Laressa Bonesi and Mannara Chopra play the female leads. Sai also has a project with director Malineni Gopichand which will go on the floors on August 28.
“I will also play a special role in Krishna Vamsi’s Nakshatram, which will start from August 17,” informs Sai. He is also in talks with Kalyanram for a film.
