Director Ajay Bhupathi, who has assisted Ram Gopal Varma in many films, is now coming up with RX 100. Slated for a June release, the entertainer will see Kartikeya and Payal Rajput playing the lead pair.
RX 100 is actually the name of a two-wheeler and apparently, in the film’s context, the title describes the personality of one of the characters. Talking about his film, Ajay says, “It’s a realistic love story against a small-town backdrop. There are a lot of emotions in it and I am confident that it will enthrall everyone.”
The romantic flick has been shot around Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh, and the filming has almost come to an end. Produced by Ashok Reddy, the flick will also see Rao Ramesh playing an important role.
Ashok says that the film’s title is extremely interesting and perfect for the story. “I can’t reveal right now why we chose this title, but I can assure you that it is apt for our story.”
