Film to be directed by Buchi Babu of Uppena fame

Perhaps for the first time in his career, Jr NTR is about to do a film that belongs to a sports genre.
Apparently, director Buchi Babu of Uppena fame had bounced a story idea to Jr NTR. The actor too was excited with the plot line, a sports drama, and endorsed it,
Mythri Movies Makers will bankroll the unconventional sports drama, if all goes well, and the film is tentatively titled, Pedhi.
A source informs, “The fact that the film will be first of its kind genre (sports drama) excited Jr NTR to the core. Other modalities are being finalised. If things go according to the plan, the film may be officially launched next month.”
However, the genre of sport has been kept under wraps, although it’s being buzzed that it’s kabaddi.
