Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has decided to take Andhra Pradesh politics seriously. Unlike his brother Chiranjeevi, who has always worked from Hyderabad, Pawan Kalyan set off to A.P. by doing the bhoomi puja for his house near the new capital.
“He doesn’t want to do the mistake done by his brother Chiranjeevi, who works from Hyderabad even now. Pawan Kalyan knows that if he starts his office and house somewhere near the new capital, people will believe that he is committed,” says a source close to the actor.
In the last few days, Pawan Kalyan has been meeting intellectuals and other members to get clarity on the special status for Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly, he initiated the demand for special status, which has gone on to become the top agenda in AP politics.
“Pawan is going to play a key role in the upcoming elections, and is watching his steps carefully,” adds the source.
