After trying his hand at youthful entertainers, Viswant Duddumpudi is now eyeing an outright comic caper. The actor reveals that his forthcoming film, Crazy Crazy Feeling, directed by Sanjay Kartik, will leave the audience in splits.
“In my earlier films, Kerintha and Manamantha, I played roles that were high on emotions but Crazy Crazy Feeling is a fun ride throughout. This is my first tryst with comedy; I had a tough time getting my comic timing right, but I eventually pulled it off,” says Viswant, adding, “I play Abhi, a teenager who comes across as a very casual guy, but a twist in the end reveals how serious I am about my goals in life.”
Describing the debutant director Sanjay Kartik’s writing as sharp and witty, Viswant adds, “Sanjay worked as Creative Head for several game shows in television, apart from directing several ad films. He has vast experience and could easily execute what he envisioned.” Meanwhile, Viswant is on a signing spree. He has already commenced shooting for two other films — Jersey and Tholubommalata.
