All films leave audience cold!

In the world of cinema, fortunes are made and lost every Friday.

You never know what clicks with the audience and what will make a film a mega hit, and we are sure the makers of the three films that were released despite it being polling day, are wondering where they slipped up.

One of the big casualties of last Friday is Kavacham, starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Kajal Aggarwal and Mehereen. The cop action drama, believed to have cost the producer over Rs 30 crore, has left everybody including distributors in distress after audiences failed to give it the thumbs up. We are not sure how debutant director Srinivas M. will take this failure in his stride.

Meanwhile, Next Enti, the Sundeep Kishan and Tamannaah-starrer that both the stars were banking on, seems to have sunk at the box office too despite director Kunal Kohli saying its bold content would draw in the audiences. Sumanth starrer Subramanyapuram is also not getting much attention as the film is apparently almost the copy of an earlier film, Karthikeya. This film too is directed by a debutant, Santosh, and features actress Eesha Rebba who was confident her act in this film would land her a big hit.

Like we said, strange are the ways of film buffs and cinema goers.
