When director Anil Ravipudi’s film with Ram Pothineni was announced a few months ago, little did we all know that the film would eventually star Ravi Teja in the lead.
While there was great interest around Ram’s blind character then, we have reliably learnt that it is the same script which the director has pitched to the Mass Maharaja who readily agreed to do the film. Interestingly, Anil had narrated the script to NTR too.
“Anil has been very confident about the script from the beginning and was adamant that he wouldn’t change it whatever the case. Ravi Teja endorsed his vision and the film is now set to go on floors in early January,” shares our source, adding, “Teja is gung ho about playing the character which will show him in a way he has never been seen before. The blind character will be dealt in a very interesting way and the actor seemed quite excited when he heard the narration.”
To be produced by Dil Raju, the film is likely to star Mehreen Kaur Pirzada as the female lead. The film is set to go on sets in late February or early March.
Interestingly, actor Raj Tarun is also playing a blind guy in his film with Veligonda Srinivas.
