No paisa vasool: Dhruva's collection not impressive

Dhruva the big holiday release in AP has opened to a far less voluminous audience than expected.

Actor Ram Charan will be a tad unhappy. Though his look and acting in his latest film Dhruva was much appreciated, the collections so far have been disappointing. The two-day share in total was Rs 15 crore, including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is a dull opening for a big star like Ram Charan.

The filmmakers are blaming demonetisation. Sadly, the response overseas, too, has been lackluster. Charan personally attended the premieres of Dhruva in the US to boost the collections, but the crowd just didn’t turn up. The premiere shows collected an Rs 1.51 crore which is lower than his earlier flop film Bruce Lee. This is a big setback for the actor.

Rashmi Gautam trolled for tweeting about Dhruva
Actor Ram Charan fans trolled popular anchor Rashmi Gautam who retweeted a post that says Rashmi Gautam’s Guntur Talkies collected Rs 17 lakh while Dhruva collected only Rs 15 lakh.

After she retweeted this, Charan’s fans started abusing her and also included the “community tag”. It was a hectic day for the anchor-turned-actress as she had to pacify her fans with her tweets. She gave it back to the nasty fellas. One of it read, “Guys it’s a troll. Chill Don’t have to get nasty in any way. I don’t think I have handed over the controls of my likes, dislikes to anyone. And like all of you, I’m a human being too Who enjoys a joke (sic).”

The other tweets included: “Omg people talking about CASTE. What ERA are we living in. Can we pls put all of this behind and move on. I’m sure we all have real jobs and real responsibilities; Ok so now what Does abusing me make you happy. Then go on I’m glad I can make someone’s day fruitful (sic),” she tweeted, and went on to tweet more about it.
