It is known that Allu Arjun and Tamil director Linguswamy are to team up, as announced in a major press meet organised in Chennai over a year ago. With no update on the film, there was even a buzz that the film might have been shelved. However, things are still in place and the film is surely happening. A source in the know informs that the film, Bunny’s Kollywood debut, could begin sometime in the summer of 2018.

“A script has been locked and pre-production activities will begin too. Director Linguswamy has to wrap up his ongoing project with Vishal, post which he will begin work on the same. Meanwhile, Bunny will finish Naa Peru Surya too. They wanted to start shooting in 2017 but some other commitments came their way. Now, they have everything settled,” says a source.
