After Love Stories, Virinchi Varma Picks Action Drama With Jitender Reddy

Remember Uyyala Jampala? Yes, he same feel good movie featuring Raj Tarun and Avika Gor, which was a blockbuster. The film with its fresh content had an instant connect with the youth and even got rave reviews. Now, the maker of Uyyala Jampala, Viranchi Varma, who also made Majnu later, is all set to woo the Telugu audience with yet another movie.

Titled Jitender Reddy, the film is being bankrolled by Ravinder Reddy under Muduganti Creations banner. Tollywood filmmaker director Deva Katta dropped the first poster of Jitender Reddy.

"Looks very exciting and looking forward to see this story!!" Deva Katta posted on X along with Jitender Reddy's Poster.

Set in the backdrop of Telangana, Jitender Reddy is an action drama set in the 1980s, reportedly based on true events. The details of the cast is yet to be revealed.

Virinchi Varma's entry into Tollywood was at a time big ticket films were ruling the roost. With a simple story and rural backdrop, the film managed to strike a chord with the audience. The film, produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni was a box office blockbuster. Later, it was Majnu with Nani.

Now, after a gap of seven years, Virinchi Varma is all set to wield the megaphone again. The first look poster of Jitender Reddy has piqued the curiosity of moviebuffs and gives one the impression of a leader lending his ear to the problems of people.
