Actress Hansika Motwani might have chosen to take it easy in terms of signing Telugu films over the last few years, but that hasn’t stopped the actress from landing meaty roles whenever she chooses to sign up. The actress will be next seen in G. Nageshwar Reddy’s forthcoming Telugu film, Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, which also starring Sundeep Kishan. What’s more, Hansika, who plays the role of an innocent Lawyer, is required to be at her comic best.
And clearly, it is one of the actress’s strengths that stood out to the director of the film, too. “One of the reasons I have zeroed in on Hansika Motani was because of her comic timing. I’ve cast her in one of my earlier films too, called Denikaina Ready, and I realised it back then that she has a superb comic timing. And in Tenali Ramkrishna BA BL, you will see more of her comic antics. And for the role of lawyer in this movie, too, Hansika has banked a lot on her spontaneity and improvisation,” says the director.
Revealing a little more about the film, Nageshwar says, “Just like all my earlier films that rode on an emotional quotient, this film, too, has an emotional aspect which will leave the audience on a high. But it’ll be a laugh riot and have the audience in splits for most of the time.” Sundeep and Hansika are being paired for the first time, and Nageshwar believes it will offer a fresh appeal to the audience. “The fresh pairing and their performances is what drives the film,” he explains.
