With rumours about glam diva Pooja Hegde set to play female lead to Sai Dharam Tej making rounds, it looks like she has resolved to work with second-rung heroes now. It seems that her reported removal from the big-ticket movie ‘Guntur Kaaram’ has affected her ratings a bit. “After being replaced opposite a big star like Mahesh Babu, it is bound to impact her career,” says a source.
She reached the top by doing films with stars like Allu Arjun, NTRjr, Mahesh Babu and Prabhas and her pay packet touched the magic Rs 3 crore mark as she was a sought-after-actress for A-listers in Tollywood. “With budgets of heroes like Sai Dharam Tej comparatively being lesser than top-league actors she has to take a pay cut to keep herself in the reckoning,” he adds.
No doubt, she earned a fan following for her gorgeous looks and subtle performances which were noticed even in star-driven movies in T-town to give herself an edge over her rivals like Rashmika, Raashi Khanna and others Now, she has to pick the right roles that would showcase her 'acting skills' to be in the race and give her rivals a run for their money.
