Actor Ram Charan, who is busy with director Sukumar’s Ranga-sthalam, has announced that he would be teaming up with director Koratala Siva for his next. The film will go on to the floors in the summer of 2018. Interestingly, the actor-director duo had earlier joined hands for a film that even had an official launch a few years ago. However, things didn’t fall into place then but the duo decided to team up later. This new venture will be produced by Charan himself under his home banner Konidela Productions, in association with Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainments.
“Charan will begin work on this film soon after he wraps up Rangasthalam. Siva will begin pre-production after he wraps up Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu. After their earlier project didn’t kick off, it is now that things finally fell into place for them to work together,” reveals a source. Meanwhile, it seems like the project which Mani Ratnam was to helm with Charan, may not happen any time soon!
