Shraddha Das, who recently delivered a Telugu hit film Guntur Talkies, is now awaiting the release of her Bollywood film Great Grand Masti.

The film was supposed to release on July 22, but due to the film being leaked online, the release has been advanced by a week. “I am not worried about it as I have worked hard. Though it was leaked online, many websites that made the film available have been blocked. Also, most people want to enjoy this film on the big screen,” says Shraddha Das.

Great Grand Masti is a sequel to the earlier films Masti and Grand Masti. It is interesting that the actress has been doing quite a few sequels and remakes. She was part of Arya 2 (sequel to Arya), Nagavalli (sequel to Chandramukhi), Dairy (sequel to Mantra), and now, this one.

“I was quite surprised that once again I am part of another sequel,” says Shraddha, adding that it was only a coincidence.

Talking about her role in the film, she says, “I play a balanced character as I am neither raunchy nor in a typical traditional avatar. I’m mostly dressed in casuals, and my part in the film is hilarious,” she says.

Her look in the film is rich and sophisticated, and the outfits of her character were inspired by those of Gauri Khan’s, that she wore in her earlier days.

When brought to her notice that films like Attarintiki daredi and Udta Punjab did well at the box office despite being leaked online, Shraddha does not want to draw any paralells. “I don’t know about that, but I hope the film will be a hit,” she says.

The actress also tasted a big hit in Badsha: The Don, a Bengali remake of the Telugu film Don Seenu. “This is one of my biggest hits and suddenly, I have too many Bangladeshi and Bengali fans,” she says.
