I relish playing intense roles, says Tanya Hope

Meanwhile, Tanya will be seen playing a medico in her forthcoming Telugu film Paper Boy.

Tanya Hope, who is currently shooting for her Kannada debut, Home Minister, has already bagged her second Kannada project — a film starring Darshan.
Talking about her foray into the industry, the Bengaluru-based actress says, “Although these are my initial days, I am relishing my stint in the Kannada film industry. In my debut film, I play a modern, independent girl, and in my second, I play an investigative journalist who joins hands with Darshan to expose some dirty secrets. So I have been getting roles that are interesting, yet contrasting. I am looking forward to signing more films in Sandalwood.”

Meanwhile, Tanya will be seen playing a medico in her forthcoming Telugu film Paper Boy. “I play a medical student who comes from a traditional, conservative background. I come across as a girl who is very pragmatic in her approach. She thinks logically, instead of getting emotional,” she says.

The actress, who is all set to make her Tamil debut as well, says that she loves doing intense roles that require preparation. “I relish playing roles that are very intense and hard-hitting. Such roles require several months of research, and they push me as an actor. Such assignments are enriching, and they inspire me to excel further,” she says.
