BVR Mohan Reddy: A living example for success by design
Director of the hit film 24, Vikram Kumar, is always on the lookout for different subjects. Says Vikram, “I always try to come up with different genres, only then can I come up with new thoughts and write new scenes.”
He says that though there are many films based on time travel, he wanted to tell it differently and in a simple way. “I wanted to reach the audience, and not in Hollywood style. I am happy with the response and everyone told me that it was a complicated subject dealt in a simple manner,” says Vikram.
He adds that he has started working on a prequel to 24. “There is no sequel to this film, but I have already started writing the script for a prequel. The villain Athreya wants the watch; why he wants it will be shown in the prequel,” he says.
About his next project, he says that he has narrated a story to Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu separately. “Both the actors liked my subjects,” he says.
