The buzz surrounding Rangasthalam is only growing with each passing day. The poster and the teasers of the film have already hogged the limelight, and now the only thing to watch out for is Ram Charan and Samantha’s unique portrayals in it.
Clearly, the film’s director, Sukumar, who is adept at penning intense characters for stars, has apparently come up with yet another set of gripping characters in his story. While it is known that Charan plays a physically-impaired man in the period drama, his antics, gestures and mannerisms as a rustic lad are hitherto unseen.
“After getting to know his role, he slipped into the character easily. He even surprised the crew with his Godavari accent, which he speaks in the film. It came to him naturally,” says a source from the unit.
And not to be left out is Samantha! The actress has stunned everyone as a village belle in the poster — a first for her. “Sam is seen sporting the sari just like a typical villager who goes to work every day. She even got the walking style, body language and expressions right quickly,” adds the source.
