Anushka Shetty is playing the lead in the female-centric Bhagmathi, directed by Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame. The shooting of this period drama is currently going on. “The film also has a suspense element in it, so the makers have erected a big set of a house at a private studio,” says a source. They wanted a house that looked nearly 400 years old and the art department toured several places to take a few references for the set. The source adds that art director Ravinder Reddy created the house and the filmmakers are very happy.
“Most of the film is going to be shot on this set and it will also be one of the highlights of the film,” adds the source. Meanwhile, people are still talking about Anushka’s weight when she recently appeared as a special guest for an audio function.
