Supriya Yarlagadda set for a comeback
Yarlagadda Supriya, the niece of actor Nagarjuna, is all set to come back to films after two decades with an important role in Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film Goodachari. This was confirmed by producer Abhishek Nama.
“Yes, Supriya is is playing a key role in the film,” says Abhishek Nama,” adding, “The film’s shooting is almost over and we are planning to release a teaser this Sankranti.
According to a source, it was Adivi Sesh who convinced Supriya to do the role. Interestingly, she made her debut in 1995 with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi opposite Pawan Kalyan, who also made his debut with the same film.
Now, after almost two decades, she is back to films because of Adivi Sesh. “Adivi Sesh has a good rapport with the Akkineni family and thus Supriya agreed to do this role,” adds the source.
The film is directed by Sashikiran Tikka while Shobhita Dhulipala is making her debut in Telugu as the female lead. The film has been shot in many locations and taken up many working days. However, the makers are confident that it will be another path-breaking one in Telugu cinema like the recently released Garudaveg.
